We purchased 6 Pestgard Mini USX units and an additional 2 from your company in recent days.We purchased them due to a raven problem in the Junior school and a starling problem in our senior school. They have been placed a distance of a few metres away from students but near bird activity. At first the high pitched sound could be heard by the young girls at junior school but the maintenance manager adjusted the volume setting to half way and the girls could no longer hear the sound but the birds are still staying away. I am not sure what setting it was changed to but it was about the half way mark on the dial. Regards
It has taken a while to get back to you as I had to wait till I got my handy man. The snake repellers were put in 10 days ago AND I think it moved the frog! I have not heard it in next doors pond, which is wonderful, however there is another frog out the back so I was going to order 2 more from you. It is not conclusive, but something happened the very night they were installed so I think they might relocate frogs.I have heard the repellers since they were installed but today they do not seem to be working. Could they have run out of power as I have them close to bushes? Should I remove the top sections and place them in the sun again to see if they re charge? I’m not sure what happened as they were beeping yesterday but we had a very heavy rain last night, although I have checked the ground and it seems very dry considering.Anyway, I would still like to order 2 more, it has been heaven not hearing the frog and I now dread tonight as they are not beeping. Thanks for your help.
I am happy with the Pestgard Transonic Pro unit – HAD A SMALL RINGTAIL BEING A CONSTANT VISITOR, especially with our rainy period of summer – think I heard hasty arrival/departure one night – and no more visits. Only had the setting of B and QUIET – HOW APT – and have only moved up to C recently. I think I followed up to B MED on a short few days, when I thought the possum may be resident – and only then used in daylight hours in the far/opposite end of the house – away from possum entry point – sorta like make the hiding spot noisy – oh, and only used in the room when ^was away at work. Anyway, seems to be a success. oo remember being able to shut door and it being soundproof, so may have left on for 48 hrs during that time – yes, think that is more accurate. Anyways, bye for now. Thanks again for the unit – nice to have a tool to work with, rather than worry and frustration.
As always very skeptical when I read about products that have subsonic waves that scare away pests and have always brushed them aside as gimmicks. However as we have been increasingly overrun by possums over the years to the extent that they were fouling our front entry on a nightly basis and that we had tried everything to eradicate them inclining sprays and plastic owls we were even at the stage of considering of putting our property on the market and moving to a less leafy suburb, they had won the war, a pity really as we love the area in which we live.We then decided on one last try, we had cut down trees what else was left?, “Pestgard Guardian” so we reluctantly ordered one and eagerly awaited its arrival. The first night results were mixed, a slight improvement but not what I had hoped for so I went back to the instruction manual and turned the settings up to high, result = the possums just stay clear of the front of our house completely, steps are clean and we no longer need to consider relocating. Absolutely amazingWe are now going to purchase a further 2 of the units to complete eradicate these pesky little blighters from our yard completely. Can thoroughly recommend.
We are a tuna company, ranching and harvesting Southern Bluefin Tuna mainly for the Japanese market. We recently purchased a Bird Scarer from Birdxpeller Australia to aid us with seagull problems. We would recommend the Bird Scarers to anyone with a situation similar to ours
To Whom It May Concern We have trialled the Bird –Xpeller pro (SBXP) for the 2008 fruit season, as one of the tools to control the bird problems we have in the vineyard. We used it to start the season when we would normally have netted our crop. This has been our worst year as far
This season I purchased for my Vineyard at Cranbrook Estate in Tasmania, a Super Birdxpeller Pro[SBXP] from Leone Scobie of Pestgard. I am extremely pleased with the purchase I made from Leone Scobie of the SBXP”….
The BirdXpeller unit we purchased is still working well and has saved MIT many thousands of dollars in cleaning costs…..
